Sitting On A Dock Of The Bay

While out and about capturing some moments in time, I happened across this beauty (Brown Pelican) resting up after what was most likely a busy morning of fishing 🙂

So because of my title, I must accompany this image with some Otis Redding

    • Do you find yourself whistling as well? I was for a couple hours after posting it. That tune certainly is one that gets stuck in the upper memory banks for sure. You’re so welcome Jill. Glad to put your mind in a different place away from all the current madness. Even if it was just for a moment. ‘Tis a good thing. Hugs 🙂

      • Actually, I have a sub-conscious system that my family figured out and told me about a few years back. If I am happy, or at least content, I sing. If I am annoyed, sad or angry, I whistle. After they pointed it out, I paid more attention, and sure enough … they are right! Strange, isn’t it? I find I whistle more than sing these days, but today I was singing “Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay” while cleaning toilets, so thank you! 😀 Yes, ’tis a good thing indeed, my friend! ❤

      • Well then, you just keep on keeping on. Besides, it’s not important what others think of you but only what you think of yourself. Walk and sing your heart out while you’re at it 😉
